Six studs made the 50-plus hour drive from Western Australia for the national event, held at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre, Tamworth, NSW, as a conclusion to the annual National Show.
In total eleven alpacas were offered at the sale, which grossed $100,500 with a clearance rate of 82 per cent to average more than $9000.
The $15,000 sale-topper, Malakai Secret Wish ET, was sold by Shane Carey, Malakai Alpacas, Ballarat, Victoria.
