A FIRE disrupted production at Milne Feed's Welshpool factory on Sunday.

Managing director Graham Laitt said the fire was caused by wire in a bale of straw that was being chopped up for production, a common reoccuring problem they encountered.
Mr Laitt said when the processing hammer hit the wire it sparked and started the fire, which would normally be put out by automatic deluge systems.
"But this one got away," Mr Laitt said.
"It was only a small fire though, nothing too serious.
"It will only effect production for a day or so."
Mr Laitt was thankful for only a small disruption, as the dry season has seen the company extremely busy with a high demand for feed ration products.
He said their lamb finishing rations in particular were very popular at the moment and EasyOne, EasyLick and EasyBeef were the biggest sellers.
