THE Shire of Northam has approved the next pop up shop which will be open for business.
Stay Strong Australia (trading under the name of Wheels on Northam) will be moving into the old butcher’s shop this month.
Stay Strong Australia has a store based in Midvale.
“Recently we have been informed by many Northam residents that you no longer have a bike shop in town," Anita Goodwin from Stay Strong Australia said.
"When we became aware of the Shire’s concept we saw this as a good opportunity to expand our business.
"We are really keen to take up this opportunity and not only assist the BMX community but also all of the families in Northam."
Cr Steven Pollard said the overall outcome for the pop up shop has been very positive.
"Council is keen to see what opportunities the pop shop will offer to Northam in the future," he said.
The Shire of Northam is welcoming applications from interested businesses to open shop and are encouraging businesses to contact them with their proposals.
