Northam grower comments on flooding
WHILE most of the water has now subsided at Blair Wilding's property west of Northam, he said the priority was fixing the fence lines.
"There is lots of fencing down within the valley but all the water has pretty much subsided," he said.
"Our place wasn't too bad at all, most of our stock was on higher country so we didn't have any worries although we had to move a few sheep."
Blair said following last year's good season the property had plenty of ground cover which had kept erosion to a minimum.
