Woolworths and Telethon are encouraging Avon Valley residents to help support seriously ill children across the state when they shop this Easter.
100% of funds raised through the purchase of the tokens will help Telethon in their ongoing efforts to provide families across the state with the support they need when their child becomes ill.
Customers at Woolworths Northam can play their part by simply adding a $2 Easter egg shaped wall token to their shop from 14th March - April 1st.
Telethon has been created by and belongs to the community of Western Australia, who over five decades have generously donated to ensure a better life for children now and in the future.
Marie-Anne Keeffe, General Manager of the Channel 7 Telethon Trust said; “Generations of Western Australians have grown up with Telethon and through their generosity have had a major impact on some of the life threatening diseases that face our children, including brain cancer and leukaemia.
“We’re extremely grateful for the long standing support and generosity of Woolworths customers and team members across Western Australia. Funds raised across this Easter campaign will help us in our mission to change the lives of seriously ill children, so we encourage local participation from Avon Valley shoppers.”
