On Tuesday afternoon artists from Northam joined together to celebrate the exhibition opening for the Northam Community Garden Craft Group’s ‘Kaleidoscope of Colour’.
Organisers said the opening was well attended and attendees and artists enjoyed an afternoon tea to celebrate their inaugural exhibition.
The exhibition is open Tuesday 3rd-17th April and the Artists’ Revolution Studio and gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday 10am-3pm.
Even though the exhibition opened only days ago, already founder Patricia Rose and her volunteers have reported that foot traffic has increased significantly as many community members are coming in to see the impressive collection by talented and local artists.
All artwork displayed is for sale and proceeds support local not-for-profit community groups, Artists’ Revolution and the Northam Community Garden Craft Group.
The Artists’ Revolution will also be opening this Sunday 8th April and everyone is welcome to pop in as they are down town enjoying the Northam Motor Sports Festival.
Membership forms are still available at the studio, and among other exciting events and exhibitions planned.
There is a ‘Learning the Art of Portraiture’ facilitated by Patricia Rose every Thursday night 7-8pm at the Artists’ revolution 226 Fitzgerald street, Northam.
