The Clackline community have met and decided the future of post in the town.
A meeting was held on Monday March 26 at the Clackline Hall looking for an alternative option for postal services due to the closure of the current Clackline Community Postal Agency being closed for business from April 28th.
The result of the meeting was the creation of a new community postal agency operating out of the restored rail carriage south of Great Eastern Highway, opposite the Clackline General Store.
The new community postal agency will be open for business from Monday April 30th from 8am to 10am weekdays, run by volunteers.
