The 2018 Anzac Service at Grass Valley attracted a good crowd of young and old to commemorate the end of WW1 and honour our men and women who have given service to our Country.
Cr Steven Pollard to deliver the Anzac address, while Cr Chris Antonio led the prayers.
Lineefe Naughton was a lovely addition to the Service this year as she sang a hymn and the National Anthems for New Zealand and Australia. Louis Lim played the trumpet with Gerard Sermon reciting the Ode.
The garden surrounding the Doug Christmass Memorial Park looked a treat and appreciation from the community goes to Ray Pak and Bernie Smith for their voluntary work.
Following the Service the large crowd walked up the hill to the Grass Valley Town Hall following behind Michael Dwyer playing the pipes.
The Gunfire Breakfast and friendship was enjoyed by all. Nicki Antonio and helpers are to be commended on a delicious breakfast.
