York Police uncover large quantity of meth and weapons in traffic stop
York Police have uncovered 55g of methamphetamine, a handgun and an axe during a roadside traffic stop on Great Eastern Highway on Sunday evening.
Police were targeting drivers coming home from the football at a section of Great Eastern Highway near The Lakes.
The drugs and weapons were found hidden in the car.
A male has been charged with possession of a trafficable amount of methamphetamine and weapons charges.
