Northam Men’s Shed will be holding a brunch in support of this year’s Mental Health Week kicking off on Sunday, September 30.
This year the theme of WA Mental Health Week is about community and the various settings we go to every day where we can support the wellbeing of others.
Northam Men’s Shed will host a presentation by Andrew McCann of Mental Illness Foundation of WA and a brunch at 11am on Wednesday, October 3 at the Old Fire Station on Duke Street.
In the spirit of the Men’s Shed movement Northam Men’s Shed invites men of all ages and backgrounds to attend with a gold coin donation for the brunch and find out how we can better understand and support each other through difficult times.
Also at the event Northam RoadWise Committee member Cliff Simpson will be presenting on driver fatigue, an emerging issue on our Wheatbelt roads.
The event has been funded by a community road safety event grant from WA State Government via the Road Safety Commission.
