FOLLOWING from last year's success, the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) is continuing its roadshow through the Wheatbelt to talk to growers about issues affecting profitability.
The Regional Cropping Solutions Network (RCSN) meetings will be held over the coming months, giving growers the opportunity to hear about local RCSN-supported projects as well as talk with GRDC Western Regional Panel and RCSN representatives.
GRDC RCSN co-ordinator Julianna Hill said the meetings would start later this month and continue through until August.
Ms Hill said this year's meetings followed the success of meetings held last year that allowed growers to provide insights into the major challenges directly affecting them.
"The meetings are also designed to improve understanding about GRDC investments in grains research, development and extension and how these investments translate to lifting on-farm productivity and profitability.
"WA's five RCSNs identify issues critical to ensuring the prosperity of the grains industry in their area and initiate local projects," she said.
