THE recent announcement by Case IH Australia and New Zealand’s parent company CNH Industrial of a new strategic digital agriculture agreement with Canadian-based company Farmers Edge, reflects Case IH’s global focus to give customers more access to the tools they need to improve their business’ bottom line.
Case IH Australia and New Zealand said this was the same motivation behind the launch in August of its own cloud-based tool ClearVU, with the product available across the Case IH national dealer network.
Case IH Australia and New Zealand product manager (planting and soil management equipment) Andrew Kissel said the partnership with Farmers Edge had the potential to incorporate the agronomic strengths of Farmers Edge with the ClearVU digital platform, providing a profitable and cost-effective option for Australian customers.
“ClearVU is a product developed in Australia,” Mr Kissel said.
“It’s easy to navigate, visually appealing and simple to operate.
“It was only launched after several years of planning, design and field testing, with extensive feedback from farmers on what they needed from such a tool in order to maximise their business’ productivity.
“ClearVU is designed to increase yield, reduce input costs and maximise farm profitability.”
Mr Kissel said the company looked forward to working with Farmers Edge to find new ways of combining their agronomic services and solutions with ClearVU’s offering in order to meet the needs of Australian farmers.
“ClearVU is also unique in this digital ag sphere in that it brings our customers and dealer network closer together,” he said.
“Our dealerships are a one-stop-shop for ClearVU customer inquiries and support and subscriptions.
“By bringing dealers and customers closer in all aspects of the business, the dealer will be able to better meet customer expectations.”
