For more than a dozen Wheatbelt residents, the skills they have learnt with Tommy Keefe (pictured right) will be proven when they enter the ring for the King of the Hill Charity Fight Night on Saturday, March 23, 2019. The charity events will feature everyday locals, including Louise O'Neill (wearing blue shirt in centre) and Andrew Quin (wearing blue shirt to the right) and many of whom have never even put on the gloves before or who have little experience, fighting for a good cause. The funds raised will go towards local charities and organisations and it's hoped the event will increase awareness about illness in country areas.
