Seniors from around the region came together at Northam Recreation Centre last week for the LiveLighter Avon Aged Care Games.
Nine teams from Brookton, Dowerin, Goomalling, York and Northam competed against each other in seated hockey, passball, bean bag toss and skittles.
Shire of Northam president Chris Antonio opened the games, with local singer Caitlin Morris performing a solo rendition of the National Anthem.
Entertainment during the lunch break was provided by Rum Jungles' Mark Schelfhout.
The winners of the Northam LiveLighter Aged Care Games were:
1st Dowerin Gentle Gym - 356 points
2nd Killara Dragonflies - 345 points
3rd Dowerin Companion Club - 341 points.
The Best Presented Team was Kalkarni Curlews and the oldest competitor was Kalkarni Curlews' Patricia Messenger 93 years young.
