Police charge three teenagers over alleged animal cruelty
Midland Detectives have charged three teenagers with animal cruelty after they allegedly struck a kangaroo repeatedly, with the wooden handle of an axe.
Police allege mobile phone footage captured the kangaroo being struck sometime between March 1 and March 7, 2019.
A 17-year-old Brigadoon boy and an 18-year-old Midland man have each been charged with animal cruelty. They are due to appear in court at a later date.
An 18-year-old Swan View man has been charged with animal cruelty and is due to appear in Midland Magistrates Court on May 10, 2019.
