WELL above advertised numbers were penned at the Elders store cattle sale at Boyanup last week when more than 1800 cattle were offered.
About half of the liveweight cattle were also interfaced on AuctionsPlus, which performed flawlessly.
Several pens were purchased through this system and there were a few other lines where the losing bidder was operating on AuctionsPlus.
Access to buyer names after the sale proved all lines knocked down to AuctionsPlus went to a lotfeeder normally in attendance.
The quality of the yarding was once again very good with only a few lesser types offered and these still generated interest.
The sale was one of many parts, with some sections lifting and others a little softer, so assessment depended on which section of the sale was observed.
