Frost takes a bite of harvest estimates

Total grain production could still slide from what is currently estimated given the further frost that occurred on the weekend and if there is no further useful rain in the northern and eastern grain growing regions.

RECENT frost events and the lack of useful spring rain north of the Great Eastern Highway have caused the State's harvest estimate to decline by more than 700,000 tonnes.
