$11,200 for Black Dog Ride Charity steer at Perth Royal Show

The 586 kilogram Blonde d'Aquitaine-Angus steer donated by D Manning Family Trust, Mardella, sold for a new record price of $11,200 to Harvey Beef with all proceeds donated to the Black Dog Ride at the Perth Royal Show trade cattle sale, with the Minderoo Foundation matching the price as a further donation. With the steer 'Winston 14' were Ben Smart (left), D Manning Family Trust, steer preparer and charity steer founder Peter Milton, Dardanup, Bradley Kammann and Phil Petricevich, S & C Livestock, Black Dog Ride general manager Lawson Dickson, Harvey Beef owner and Minderoo Foundation founder Nicola Forrest and her goddaughter Violet Bodney with Harvey Beef staff Wayne Shaw, Campbell Nettleton, Ben Dwyer, Paul Slaughter, Ben Matella and Patrick Nettleton, Sam Roberts, Bunbury Farmers Market, where Winston 14 will be retailed and Kelly Manning, D Manning Family Trust.
