Woolgrowers look to sell clip before final sale series at Western Wool Centre

AWN auctioneer Stephen Squizzy Squire said buyers were prepared to pay a premium of between 80 cents and $1 a kilogram for better-styled, high-yielding, low-vegetable matter fleece and more again if it was registered Responsible Wool Standard.

PRICES caught up to, and in most cases bounded ahead of, eastern wool markets at the Western Wool Centre (WWC) last week, following a week without local sales.
