The warning includes southern parts of Thomson Brook, Brookhampton, Grimwade, Kirup, Mullalyup, Newlands, Noggerup, and Upper Capel in the Shire of Donnybrook-Blingup, about 220 kilometres south of Perth.
Emergency WA says the fire is a threat to lives and homes and locals should act immediately to survive.

It says an increase in fire activity on Thursday has prompted the emergency warning.
The Department of Communities has set up an evacuation centre at Donnybrook Recreation Centre.
Firefighters from the Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service and the Bush Fire Service are on the scene along with those from the Parks and Wildlife Service.
State Emergency Service volunteers are also providing support.
The blaze broke out on Wednesday afternoon but the cause is yet to be revealed.
